Cookie Policy
Last updated · 20 May 2026
This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies add.style uses, why we use them, and the controls you have. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device when you visit it. Cookies allow a site to recognise your browser across requests — for example, to keep you signed in or to remember a preference. We also use related browser storage APIs (such as localStorage) where appropriate; for the purposes of this policy we refer to all of them as “cookies”.
2. The cookies we use
add.style uses only a small number of cookies, and we group them by purpose:
| Cookie | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| addstyle.session | Keeps you signed in to your account. | Strictly necessary | Up to 7 days |
| addstyle.session.csrf | Protects authenticated requests against cross-site request forgery. | Strictly necessary | Session |
| NEXT_LOCALE | Remembers the language you chose so we serve it on your next visit. | Preference | 1 year |
We do not currently use cookies for advertising. If we add analytics or marketing cookies in the future we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.
3. Third-party cookies
When you sign in with Google, Google may set cookies on its own domain to authenticate you and to remember your account. Those cookies are governed by Google’s own privacy and cookie policies, not ours. We do not set advertising or social-media cookies on add.style.
4. Why we use cookies
The cookies above are necessary to provide the Service you ask for. Without them you would have to sign in on every page, your language choice would not be remembered, and we would be unable to protect authenticated requests against forgery.
5. Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Most browsers also let you choose to refuse cookies from specific sites. Please note that disabling the strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in to add.style.
To delete cookies that Google has set when you used Google sign-in, visit your Google account permissions and remove access to add.style.
6. Changes to this policy
When we change the cookies we use, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will also be highlighted on the Service.
